The Edge Martial Arts promoted two of its Black Belts to the level of 3rd Degree Black Belt in front of a very impressive panel of Master Instructors.
Mr. Tom Forster, 16, of Stillwater a student of the Marital Arts of 10 Years has been helping in the classroom for 6 years now and has recently been certified as an instructor. Forster has also recently been inducted into the National Honor Society as well.
Mr. Joe Abboud, 27, of Woodbury a student of the Martial Arts of 17 years is the Director of The Edge Maplewood and the Owner of The Edge Hudson was recently certified as a Head Instructor. Abboud a coach of Team Edge and a nationally recognition competitor.
Both gentlemen put on a great show of higher level Martial Arts skill as Forster demonstrated perfection of each technique at extremely fast speeds and accurate placement as Abboud put on a skilled Judo demonstration sweeping and throwing his partner every direction possible.
These Promotions were signed off on by Master John Longstreet - World Champion Kickboxer, Master Derek Motchenbacker - Sport Karate World Champion, Master Nathan Thorn - Founder of The Edge, and Grand Master J. Pat Burleson - American Karate Pioneer.
